Frank and Eva Buck Memorial Hall
The 2-story Buck Hall includes classrooms, teaching studios, a conference room and faculty offices. Acoustical and performance qualities include minimizing sound transmission between spaces while at the same time providing performance level sound quality in designated spaces. This building is located next to the Recital Hall.
Owen Hall
Renovated in 1976 and again in 2017, Owen Hall enhances and elevates experiential learning opportunities at the Conservatory. In addition to multiple practice and faculty rooms, the building includes audio and video recording studios, composition and reed-making studios, a dedicated space for the student-run Pac Ave Records music label, a jazz suite, and a percussion practice area. The Composition studio includes the Buchla Analog Modular system (an electronic musical instrument that consists of a multitude of different components (modules) that are used and combined to create electronic sounds).
